Does FAP Turbo Really Work?

We have found FAP turbo to be fairly user friendly. They have tutorioals to guide you through each step of your setup. But don’t think about making even small adjustments based upon your previous experience. We have experienced user error caused when when changed the GMT offset improperly. This is the most confusing change the user is required to make and it has caused abnormal losses when set improperly. They do have a tutorial that guides you through this change so make sure to use this recourse to protect your investment.

Often the trading results we have experienced are frequent small to medium sized trades. So rather than having one large trade that doubled the account, FAP Turbo has increased our account slowly and consistently. This is seen as a strong point in my eyes because it is a safe position. For FAP Turbo to deliver overnight fortune it would have to risk a large portion of your account on a single trade. If that trade went south you would be stuck with a devastating loss.

My recommendation would be to go ahead and make the purchase of FAP turbo. After making the purchase run it on a demo account for at least 2-3 weeks to make sure everything is running properly and you are comfortable with the trading.

FAP Turbo Trading Account Results Week 4

With FAP Turbo’s most recent update it has an automatic GMT offset setting. I was unsure how daylight savings would effect it. I was hoping that the settings would automatically factor in daylight savings time and adjust accordingly. Well I was wrong and I paid for my mistake, literally. FAP Turbo does have an automatic setting programmed into the latest update, but it seems to have been programmed in during daylight savings time. I lost nearly $100 dollars in my second trade before I quickly adjusted the time. I was unable to fully recoup the full $100 dollars I lost in that trade during the week.

I have been impressed with FAP turbo thus far as far as its reliability to limit risks. The one complaint I have for the creators is that FAP turbo is very sensitive to the GMT offset. This makes sense is may ways because the system is built upon very specific movements in the market, but i dread making another GMT offset mistake. FAP turbo does supply the user with very good video tutorials for setting up FAP turbo, I advise following these instructions exactly because I assumed to much and it has cost me over $300 in the last 4 weeks. Luckily FAP Turbo is a quality Forex Robot and I have still made a profit overall.

Week 2: Gain of $166.96

Week 3: Gain of $159.30

Week 4: Loss of $56.17 (User error due to daylight savings time GMT offset adjustment)

FAP Turbo Demo Trading Account: October 2009 Week 3

Its week three in our demo trading account and FAP Turbo is on track to continue bringing in great profits. This weeks performance was impressive. The week finished with 100% profitable trades. There were 15 trades executed 9 short positions and 6 long positions all 15 were won. The net profit for the week was $159.03 which is a ROI of 3.3% in one week.

A return of 3.3% in the investing world may not seem like much to some but I finding an investment that will return 3.3% a week is nearly impossible to come by. The only investment that can truly be compared to the performance delivered by this Forex robot is trading Forex on your own. Yes, some individuals make much more than this each day trading Forex online themselves but they must spend many uninterrupted hours in from of a computer each day. With Expert advisors it is completely hands free and that is what is attractive to me. I personally don’t have the time or the skill to trade myself, so I am willing to take a more conservative approach which may bring a slightly lower ROI.

Here are some details from this weeks trading:

Most successful currency pairs:

usdcad Net Gains= $83.42

eurgbp Net Gains= $64.62

eurchf Net Gains= $10.99

The USDCAD curreny pair were helped in part this week by the volatile stock market. This caused the US dollar to fluctuate in value. This is a good example of how you can profit in the Forex market even during poor economic conditions. The eurchf pair was once again a little disappointing this week but it had a much stonger showing than last week.

Overall this week I was very pleased the total account balance is now $5,132.57 from the original $5,000 invested.

FAP Turbo Demo Trading Account: October 2009, Week 2

After a very disappointing first week due to my own user error I was very pleased by the results this week. FAP turbo performed very well returning 72% winning trades for a net profit of $166.96. What has impressed me so much about this Forex Robot as compared to others is how well it has matured. When I purchased FAP turbo in Jan 2009 I had to make several of my own adjustments to bring it to a higher level of profitability. With the latest update FAP turbo is completely hands free.

The creators have made this edition almost idiot proof. If you are accustom to making the adjustments required in the older editions forget what you thought you knew. Just plug it into Metatrader 4 and let in run. The mistake I made last week was I changed the settings for GMT offset like I always had but forgot to adjust for daylight savings time. This caused FAP Turbo to make mistakes during hours of the day when it usually wouldn’t trade. This latest edition makes all the GMT offset adjustments for you.

The currency pairs that I had success with this week were both eurgbp and the usdcad pair.

Net Gains on eurgbp= $88.13

Net Gains on usdcad= $77.15

The eurchf pair was a little disappointing this week because it often brings in the largest net profit but due to its volatility this week it was rarely traded for 2 losses and 2 gains for a net profit of only $1.42.

Overall this week I was very pleased because FAP turbo is essence dug me out of the hole I created last week through my own error. The total account balance is now $4,973.27 from the original $5,000 invested. I expect the remaining balance to be replaced early next week. So start looking to see how the high a ROI FAP Turbo can create.

FAP Turbo Demo Trading Account: October 2009, Week 1

This past week I gained surprising results using FAP Turbo. In truth I was baffled because I lost nearly two-hundred dollars in one week. I wondered did the market suffer some unpredictable drop or is FAP Turbo no longer the robot it used to be. I the past FAP turbo has made over five-hundred dollars in one month on a three-thousand dollar account. So what made the difference?

Well the deeper I dug the more it didn’t make sense. The market fluctuated normally and I actually had more winning trades then loosing trades. I had 9 winning trades and 5 losing trades which may not seem like a poor showing but I realized that I had never had that many loosing trades in a week before. I usually only had one or two. Had FAP Turbo just met its match in the market?

After a little more digging I discovered the root of the problem: User error. I had actually made an error with a feature that FAP turbo’s most recent update made idiot proof. In previous editions you needed to manually adjust the GMT offset time. In the current edition in has an setting which automatic adjusts the GMT offset. I didn’t realize this adjustment had been made and innocently switched off this setting and improperly adjusted the GMT offset. The mistake I made in adjustment was not factoring in daylight savings time. GMT time is created as a constant world time that doesn’t adjust according to the whims of man.

So you may ask what is the big deal about the time being set improperly? Well FAP turbos algorithms are set to properly predict the outcome of trades between certain hours on certain days. More specifically it is set the be most accurate during the market’s calmest hours. These hours occur during Europe’s late night hours, because the European market has the largest affect on the forex market. So if the GMT offset is incorrect by even one hour FAP turbo will begin trading early or end late. When this happens the market is more volatile and allows for grater losses.

So in essence to sum the week up FAP Turbo has made more user friendly adjustment to their latest update. All that is required by the user is a hands off approach. It is still to be determined if FAP turbo is still a profitable forex robot in todays market, but now that we have corrected our error we have high hopes that it will begin trading profitably like it has in the past.

FAP Turbo Demo Account: October 2009

The FAP Turbo demo account is once again live and testing the current market conditions. We will be doing a ninety day test to determine how much profit can be made in this current volatile market. We did a previous test which lasted 30 days and we were very impressed by the results. We will be trading 4 currency pairs : USDCAD, GBPCHF, EURGBP, EURCHF, updates will be posted weekly.

One down fall that has killed earlier expert advisors is their inability to adjust to current market conditions. With the current economic crisis adjusting to the market has never been more important than it is today. FAP Turbo issues periodic updates through out the year to adjust accordingly, but do the adjustments really make a difference? EA’s are essentially created by very complex math formulas. If the market change is extreme the forex robot would essentially get the wrong answer to the math problem, which means you lose money.

If a forex robot provider can properly keep their customers updated to these changes then the customers can literally bank on the EA’s performance. We have confidence in FAP Turbo because of there previous performance and hope to see results in our demo account.

Short Term Scalper Strategy vs. Long Term Strategy

Fap Turbo has two different strategies Short Term Scalping Strategy and Long Term Advanced FAP strategy. We are using only the Short Term Scalping Strategy.

The Scalping strategy is not a tradional scalping method. Other Automated programs scalping strategies seek to make hundreds of small trades every minute, which causes instability in the market and is banned my all major brokers. The FAP Turbo Scalping Strategy seeks to make 5-6 profitable trades per day. This keeps you in a stable position and is allowed by brokers.

Postitive Points

Its low risk- FAP Turbo has built in stop-loss.
You can make a lot of money fast.
It is programed to react to the market without emotion. So it want risk your money “just in case” it goes even higher. It functions only by the facts.

Negative Points

Because it is low risk their are times that it could make more money, but it would come at a higher risk. Its your money I’m sure you don’t want to risk lossing it all in one shot.
If the market fluctuates to much it won’t trade at all. Once again this reduces risk and can also be seen as a positive aspect.
Its not perfect, but nothing is, chances are a human would have greater errors. And you would still need to pay them.

The long-Term method in general seeks to make one to two trades over a weeks period. The idea is so ride out some of the bumps the market creates and switch currency when it peaks. Many people mix long-term and short-term methods to created a winning mix.

Positive points

Lower risk than scalping
You have the opportunity to make larger gains at one time.
It rides out some of the low points to make a profit down the road.

Negative points

You can have larger losses if the market is not coming back.
Sometimes the market won’t rebound for a while so a portion of your capital may be tied up.

When you look at the two different strategies they both have strong and weak points. We choose to run our tests using just the scalper strategy. Having done research outside our tests some experts believe that if you have at least one currency trading long-term it can make up for some of the losses the higher risk short term scalping strategy brings.

FAP Turbo Settings

I have received several requests regarding the settings I have been using for FAP Turbo. First I must mention that FAP Turbo has excellent settings already programmed into the robot, but some settings can be adjusted for a more aggressive position.

I chose to take a slightly more agressive position. The settings I changed were the LLR (Scalper_LotsRiskReducer) and, Max Lots.

EURGBP MM True LRR 30 Max Lots 10

EURCHF MM True LRR 20 Max Lots 10

Increasing these settings gives you a potentially larger profit margin. It does increase you risk. So along with a large profit margin your losses can also be larger. Personally I felt the risk was small due to the success at which FAP turbo trades.

Okay now for a disclaimer: Understand that altering settings beyond defaults carries a certain amount of risk and should not be done without thorough testing/evaluation on your part first.

Recently spreads have increased with several brokers. FAP Turbo will not trade if the spread is higher than 5. This can be adjusted but you must do so cautiously. After Purchasing FAP Turbo do your research and find a broker with competitive spreads. I have been doing some research of my own and I will post the results soon.

FAP Turbo Results – Jan 2009

We just wrapped up January and the results with FAP Turbo have been great. The claims of doubling your money in 30 days were not realized, but over $500 in profit is nothing to complain about. We do believe that the claims of doubling your investment in 30 days are technically possible. The smaller gain is most likely due to unstable market conditions. The EURGBP was traded very little this month due to the large spreads caused by these conditions. Under normal circumstances it seems that FAP Turbo would produce a greater profit.

At this point we feel it is fair to recommend FAP Turbo as a reliable product. It may not double your investment immediately but even if the market where to stay at its current level $500 dollars profit in one month is something everyone can appreciate.

This is our trading history for Jan. 2009. We are providing you with this information so you know what to expect of normal trading for FAP Turbo. Note how EURGBP is only traded once after the 13th due to market conditions.
